Travel Journal

Altered Composition Notebook

 

Required supplies:
64001 Travel Words Paper

10643 Travel Cardstock Stickers

61029 Blush Red Dark Prism Cardstock

61047 Tawny Light Prism Cardstock

01614 Black and White Big Time Brads

00344 Dark Blue Scrapper's Floss

Composition Notebook (Dept. or Office Store)

 

Tools:

03012 Rippin' Ruler; Earth

Paper Trimmer

Scissors

Black Ink

Craft Knife or Sand Paper

 

Instructions:

1. Adhere the Travel Words Paper to the cover of a composition notebook.  Trim off the excess edges with a craft knife or sand paper.

 

2. Cut a 4" x 5.5" piece from the Blush Red Dark Prism Cardstock; ink the edges.

 

3. Cut a 3.5" x 6" piece from Tawny Light Prism Cardstock; tear the bottom edge at a diagonal with the "teeth" edge of the Rippin' Ruler.  If your piece is too long after you tearn, cut a little off the top.  Ink the edges and adhere to the Blush Red cut piece.

 

4. Wrap 24" of Dark Blue Scrapper's Floss around the bottom of cardstock piece and tie on "Explore" tag sticker.

 

5. Affix "fun" sticker to the center of Big Time Brad and attach to right bottom corner.  *Note: Everyone will havea different colored brad...either white or black.

 

6. Affix various travel stickers to the Tawny Light Cardstock.  Adhere entire piece to the upper right portion of travel notebook.
