Janna Wilson,
Fiskateer #2801
These place cards are a fun way to get
creative with scraps and odds and ends from previous
projects.
I used some of my favorite
punches to add a special touch.
These are so easy but they’ll
add a whimsical, handmade touch to your Easter table.
Required supplies:
- Fiskars 12" personal paper trimmer
- Fiskars "lacy days of summer" border punch
- Fiskasr large squeeze punches- Oval 'n oval, funky
love
- Heidi Grace "heidi's Flowers" paper and embellishments
- other: pink cardstock, clear gems, wire, glitter glue
Instructions
1. Cut place card to 4” x 4” and fold 3
1/2” over.
2. Punch a ¾” x 4” border with the Lacy Days of Summer punch
and adhere to bottom of place card SHORT side. Machine
stitch if desired.
3. Add a sticker label from Glittered Tags sticker sheet and
label each name with alphabet stickers.
4. Embellish each card with an egg, flower or butterfly
design.
5. Eggs are punched with Oval & Oval Again Squeeze punch.
Add flowers and/or ribbon to embellish eggs.
6. Create butterfly by folding patterned paper in half and
the punching with Funky Love heart Squeeze Punch. I punched
two and layered them for added dimension. Add wire tentacles
and gems for the body. Outline butterfly with glitter glue
if desired.
