Luminary
Stacey Kingman
Grab a stack of lunch bags and
create a festive luminary path for your next summer evening
get-together with the Fiskars Eyelet Setter Set. I was
delighted with how simple this tool is to use and how fun
the resulting projects would be! Fill this simple punched
bag with a lighted jar candle and line your driveway or
garden path with sparkly, candlelit craftiness. If you want
to include the kids in the creative process, make some
extras and let them decorate bags filled with goodies for
your guests.
Required supplies:
- Eyelet Setters 3-Piece Set
- Tape Runner
- Twinkle Twinkle - Extra Large
- 12 x 18 Cutting Mat
- 12 inch/30 cm Portable Trimmer
- ShapeTemplate™ Tool - Shapes-1 w/Asst. Borders
- Threading Water border punch
- Cloud 9 "Max's backyard" papers
- Cloud 9 rain dots
- other- fabric scrap, paper lunch bag

Instructions
1. Flatten a lunch bag on a craft mat,
use the shape cutting template to mark the shape of the
star. Remove template, punch holes along the star shape
using the 1/8-inch hole eyelet punch. Place a lighted jar
candle inside.
2. To create gift bag, cut patterned paper to 5” X 7” and
adhere inside the bag so that the color shows through the
punched holes. Embellish with Rain Dots and punched stars.
Fill bag with goodies.
3. For a closed bag, cut a 4 ˝” X 4” piece of patterned
paper. Create a border on each long side and fold in half.
Fold the top of the bag over, place folded patterned paper
over the fold and punch two holes 1 ˝” apart with the
3/16-inch eyelet punch. Thread fabric through the holes,
embellish with Rain Dots.
