Starting as a sales rep, Pam Riddell has worked with independent scrapbook Stores since the mid-1990’s. In 2004 she left her job to start her own company, The Riddell Group (www.theriddellgroup.com), selling scrapbook supplies exclusively to independent stores. She hired her two sons, Ben and Adam (cheap labor!), and began expanding her base of customers, building business and relationships—what an adventure!

But it wasn’t enough. As the Riddells came to know their customers and listen to their concerns, they realized too many people didn’t know the difference between an “independent” scrapbook Store and a chain store, and the wonderful surprises found in the former. So Pam and her son, Ben (a technical wizard!) set about building this website to help spread the word.

Maps-2-Memories is dedicated to independent Stores across the country, large and small. These women (and men) all bring a passion to what they do—a desire to help you preserve your memories. And no matter the size or location of the store, they have one thing in common: their uniqueness!

Since there are virtually millions of products now available for scrapbooking, you can visit 50 different stores and find something new and exciting in every one of them, unlike the chains. You’ll also find friendly, helpful personnel who are delighted to help you get started, choose the perfect paper, teach you a new technique, or just listen to the story of your memories.

So come along on this adventure, find a new store near you or one across the country. If you’re like us, we’ve never left a store without something new we “had” to buy (at least Pam, Ben doesn't admit to scrapbooking yet)!  But help support the “little guys,” and tell ‘em we sent you! Thank you.
